Instructions for installing FME Server where we have an Apache Webserver and Tomcat TranslationServlet.In this case we want our web links to use the default webserver port (80) but we also want requests to our servlets automatically sent to the servlet engine.This is an example ofusing a reverse proxy with FME Server.

Note:that port 80 is used in all cases,even though the servlet container listens on port 8080.This will be configured below.

Please note that paths containing spaces should be in double quotes ("C:\Program Files\Apache\...")
You should now able to get to the FME Server home page without specifying port 80 usinghttp://

Confirm that you are able to publish a workspace from FME Desktop.Specifically,ensure that you can edit the service properties for the associated services.If not,please seeService Properties are Unavailable.
If the Tomcat examples are accessible as described above,but FME Server is still not working,go toGeneral Troubleshooting,and follow the steps listed.Then,contact theProduct Support Teamfor further assistance.
