The following error causes an FME translation failure:
ERROR|Unable to Create Worker
The "Parallel Processing Level" is set too high (likely "Extreme") in a transformer in the workspace, and there are no longer any resources available to continue running the workspace.
Change the "Parallel Processing Level" to a less aggressive processing level.
I'm getting this error even when setting the level to moderate. What is this depending on?Is there a way to tell whether or not my settings will work or is this just trial and error? Also, could my process fail on a different machine while it runs on mine due to my parallel processing settings? This could be an issue when publishing to FME Server.
HI@ekkischefflerIt largely depends on the number groups created as a result of the "group by" attribute, and how many cores/RAM your computer has. So,yes,it may fail on one machine and work on another. This article, while a few years old, does a good job explaining how parallel processing works:https://knowledge.亚搏在线safe.com/articles/1211/parallel-processing.html
