@mconwayYou're right, this is a pretty broad question.In the end, you have to look at your typical workflows and go from there.Do you have a few, very large jobs running on a schedule?Many small jobs that need immediate turn around?Are your jobs memory intensive (many blocker transformers)?

We have found that many FME Servers are configured on a VM environment and this can have a detrimental impact on performance, if the VM is not configured appropriately.Some thoughts on that topic arehere.
