You may also want to look at other tools using Word itself to automate PDF creation, that way you'll be guaranteed the exact same result as in Word.

In the meantime, it looks like tim_wood had some success by changing the .docx to .html and using theHTML Table Readerinstead in hisQ&A answer here, and that might be worth a try for reading it in.If you are successfully able to read it in, you could then write it out to PDF, though I think Tim's data may have originally been table data.Some other users have tried converting to textfiles as well, although it will lose formatting.
