It is known that FME can read from SharePoint.
But my requirement is to read data from SharePoint portal (with 亚搏在线workflows) and migrate to Documentum SharePoint is frontend for the customer storing the content and after migration Documetnum D2 will be used as frontend.

I am looking at any FME based solution by way of APIs,customization etc.

I have a process where I need to read and manipulate fileshosted on SharePoint and move them to another SharePoint site.SO far I am not able to even read the data because of the authentication.Any tips?

Is it possible to use the SharePoint reader to connect to a SharePoint using anonymous credentials?There are a few public sharepoint websites where we would like to mine information from and all of the options in the reader are requiring authentication.

I am looking to read from an Excel file in SharePoint,do some analysis,and write back (update) that same Excel file in Sharepoint.How would I do so?It appears I can only read from/write to SharePoint lists,not actual files.The FME help is pretty vague.There is ablog postthat describes how one company migrated millions of documents to SharePoint so there must be a way to upload the files.However,我找不到任何“如何”文档。Can anyone point me in the right direction?Thanks!

The FME Sharepoint reader can read attachments,and the Sharepoint writer even has an "attachment" field,but it can't be used to upload attachments.Since Sharepoint doesn't support raster data types,the attachment field is the only way to upload images.It would be great if FME added support for attachment uploads in the Sharepoint writer.

I'm trying to connect to SharePoint Online with FME 2018.0 & 2018.1 BETA and I'm getting a SAML authentication error.


It was previously working,but stopped about 3 weeks ago.My assumption is some change on the 365 tenant,but I can't identify anything that's different.


Additionally,despite the error,it's stating response message was: '200'--

Microsoft SharePoint List Reader: Error authenticating via SAML.Verify that the username and password are correct,and that this is a SharePoint Online instance.Response message was: '200'

This occurs if I open a blank workspace and just add a sharepoint write.I've attempted to run the latest version of both 2018.0 and 2018.1 BETA.All when attempting from FME Desktop.

Hi FME fans,

I am using the MS Sharepoint List writer to update values - this is using Feature Operation 'Update' using Row Selection 'sharepoint item id'.

This works fine when I give it a new value,eg a different date,however if I set the value to null in FME the value in sharepoint doesnot change.How can I set the value to null?
