FME Server 2014 SP2 and Newer:
To increase the time an output file from the datadownload service remains on the FME Server system you can increase the FME_RESULT_LIFETIME parameter found in the the/Server/fmeEngineConfig.txtfile. It is found in the Global section at the top of the file.
By default this parameter is set to 3600 seconds or 1 hour. This means files older then 1 hr will be removed from the system when FME Server checks for older files. FME Server will check for these older files at a time interval controlled by the FME_PURGE_INTERVAL parameter (by default 3600 seconds or 1 hour).
You only need to change this parameter if your translations are taking longer then one hour and multiple files are being created in the DefaultResults folder to eventually be zipped up and downloaded.
For more information, see the documentation on theFME Engine Configuration Files- search for theFME_RESULT_LIFETIMEdirective.
For FME Server 2014 SP1 and Older:
Config files are located in a different location for these software versions. The FME_RESULT_LIFETIME parameter can be found in thefmeEngineConfig_EngineX.txtin the Global section at the top of the file. Make changes in all the engine config files for the number of active engines you have running on FME Server.
