The Shapefile format is such that the name of the destination feature type is the name of the group of files that make up the format.Sometimes it is necessary to generate these output files with names provided by the end user rather than the defaults used by the workspace.
If you wish to explicitly set the name of the output feature type on a case-by-case basis, the attached workspace shows how this can be done.
For example, after clicking Prompt and Run, the user selects MediumParks for the output filename. The Tester transformer then extracts only parks that fit this criteria. The output filename becomes MediumParks.shp.
