A service account is an account that allows a service access to domain components. Properties of service accounts include:
- A service account is not associated with a particular user.
- 一个服务帐户的username and password can be shared amongstFME Flowadministrators.
- 一个服务帐户的username and password can be stored as configuration parameters.
- 一个服务帐户的password does not expire.
In the context ofFME Flow和活动目录:
- FME Flowis a service.
- A service account accesses Active Directory on behalf ofFME Flow.
It is possible to configureFME Flowto integrate with Active Directory without a service account. However, the following features will be unavailable:
- Token Service access to theREST API.
- Single sign-on.
