AreaCalculator
Calculates the area of a polygonal object and stores the value in an attribute. The area is calculated in square map units, whatever they are.
被执行面积计算的类型是由参数类型选择的。
Input Ports
This transformer accepts any feature. Features without an area geometry will have an area of 0.
Output Ports
Features with the calculated area are output through this port.
Note: ">Note:Feature ordermay change in relation to other output ports. Feature order per port is maintained.
Parameters
For the traditional projected area of features (excluding fully 3D geometries such as solids, meshes, or point clouds), usePlane Areaas the type.
For 2D geometries with additional elevation information, the option of calculating 3D sloped areas is available by selectingSloped Areaas the type. This option calculates the surface area of the feature, taking elevation into consideration.
For fully 3D geometries, the full surface area of the geometry will be calculated regardless of theType参数。
The attribute that contains the area of the polygonal feature.
The multiplier parameter can be used to scale the area from being square ground units (the units of the feature's coordinates) to something else. This parameter may either be entered as a number, or can be taken from the value of a feature attribute by selecting the attribute name from the pull-down list.
For 3D geometries, the surface area is always returned.
Editing Transformer Parameters
There are several ways to define a value for use in a Transformer. The simplest is to simply type in a value or string, which can include functions of various types such as attribute references, math and string functions, and workspace parameters. There are a number of tools and shortcuts that can assist in constructing values, generally available from the drop-down context menu adjacent to the value field.
Using the Text Editor
The Text Editor provides a convenient way to construct text strings (including regular expressions) from various data sources, such as attributes, parameters, and constants, where the result is used directly inside a parameter.
Using the Arithmetic Editor
The Arithmetic Editor provides a convenient way to construct math expressions from various data sources, such as attributes, parameters, and feature functions, where the result is used directly inside a parameter.
Conditional Values
Set values depending on one or more test conditions that either pass or fail.

Expressions and strings can include a number of functions, characters, parameters, and more.

Enabled once you have clicked on a row item. Choices include:
Cut, copy, and paste may be used within a transformer, or between transformers. |
过滤 |
Start typing a string, and the matrix will only display rows matching those characters. Searches all columns. This only affects the display of attributes within the transformer - it does not alter which attributes are output. |
进口 |
进口populates the table with a set of new attributes read from a dataset. Specific application varies between transformers. |
Reset/Refresh |
Generally resets the table to its initial state, and may provide additional options to remove invalid entries. Behavior varies between transformers. |
Note:Not all tools are available in all transformers.
